Heya everyone!
My wife related a story to me this morning of something Z said. He was looking at a cloud and made the comment that the one he was seeing looked like a wolf. She looked up and agreed. Then she asked him how he saw that, and he said, "With my Superman eyes!"
Of course! How could we NOT have known that??? hehe...
I remember one time I was taking him to Karate class and he was telling me how to get there. I knew, but I was seeing if he did. At one point, he told me to take a turn that I knew to be wrong. So I said, "How about we go this way instead?" We did and a few minutes later saw his dojo. He said, "Good choice dad!"
It amazes me (as they often do) the things that my kids say. Z tends to say more imaginative and off the wall things as E tends more towards facts and knowledge. What's rather interesting is my wife is an artist and I am a network engineer. My daughter has always favored me and my son favors my wife in looks. Therefore it should be only natural that they also favor us in their likes and dislikes. My daughter plays video games, and my son doesn't show much interest. I just find it really interesting.
Anyway, I'm going to sign off for now. Just wanted to document this while I was thinking about it.
